Summer Daze

Hot, muggy, days,

The taste of cold ice cream,

And the smell of bug spray

All add into one word: SUMMER.

It also means that summer sports are waiting.

As you know mine is biking.

So far this summer has been pretty exciting.

From getting 2 new members of the family, which are Kariah & Kalasia, from the other side of the state, to jumping into the St. Clair River.

We went to visit cousins and camped with them in Muskegon, and I caught a snake in the creek there!

So far summer has been a blast!!!

But that’s not all!

We're going to go camping up in the U.P. in a week!!!

Catching Up

Addison Oaks, The State Games, and Bloomer are next!!!

Addison Oaks- Fun, twisty-turny trail. At Addison, you could get high speeds of 25.0 out there!With lots of long, downhill parts, I got plenty of momentum to go up the next hill without having to pedal! I got 1st, with a time of 41min.

The State Games ( Cannonsburg ) -With lots of uphills, Cannonsburg was NOT that easy. But with lots of hard work put into it, I ended up with a 1st, with a time of 38 minutes.

Last but not least, Bloomer Park - Since they re-constructed it, there were parts of the trail that I didn't know about. Which was mainly the reason why I wiped out a few times ( and I did ). My worst fall in there was when I hit a root, then a rock, and then I RAMMED into some bushes. Man, was that bad. It took over       5 minutes to shake that one off!!! 1st place out of 4 other boys, with a time of 42 min.

August is going to be a busy month with 3 big races, Big M one of my favorites, next I'm going to take on the 45 mile Ore- To- Shore, then I'm gonna wrap it up with Maybury.
