Snowboard Mania at East China

After trying(yet not really working out the best...) to sled and snowboard the Marine City hill that's across from Marine City middle school for the first time, me, mom, dad, and Meilee, went to the East China hill. Dad brought the ramp out for everyone to use. As Me and Meilee carried up our snowboards, a kid in front of me(I was climbing up the ridge and Meilee was on the lower path) slipped, and held on tight to his styrofoam sled, until he dropped it. It slipped down the lower icy path, it looked as if an invisible(mischievous)kid was riding the runaway sled. I quickly held my balance and slipped down the ridge to catch the rogue sled, I ran after it and finally I grabbed the foam grippers. I realized that what I was standing on pure ice, so I walked slowly, finally I walked up the ladder and handed the boy his sled.
As I got clipped up onto my snowboard, I watched dad set up the ramp, he scooped up snow and plopped it atop of the ramp and smoothed it down. I turned to the other side of the hill, Meilee looked at me, her helmet made her head look like one of one of those figurines with a bobbly, oversized head. I was all ready, so was dad, I got up, and rode down to where he set it up. I slid down with a small portion of speed, than made a little jump and went down the hill. As I walked up, Meilee came down, with too little speed, and fell. As I kept coming up and down making it and falling(well, I only fell once the time we were there).
Finally on the fourth or fifth time, Meilee made it! I was walking up the hill, when Meilee came down, plopped off the ramp and stayed upright! I kept making it, and dad said to try to go and try to jump up when I get to the end of the ramp. The first time I tried it, I gave a little hop, and I got a slight rush of adrenaline, it felt....good! I felt and heard the wind, it was a light(yet pushy) and chilly and gave a shiver down my spine. So I started to go a little higher and harder every run.
Then it was about time to go home, so dad told us to go do one more run.So I decided to make it a "Grand Finale"(See the video of our little Saturday snowboarding spree sometime within the next week or so). Meilee went first on the saucer sled, I watched as Meilee made it to the other mini hill in the back. I was ready(dad was recording)I felt myself sliding down in slo-mo, down to the ramp at full speed, I tasted the speed, smelled the fresh snow, and heard the whoosh of me sliding to the ramp. I jumped up as high as my legs would go, I leaned forward and watched in slo-mo going down the ramp. When I reached ground, I flew, down the rest.
Dad went crazy and kept going on about how awesome it was, I admit, I myself was marveled at what I could do. What a day, I can't wait to see what else I can do....... :)

Tune in for more adventures of my life!!!!!!!!!!!
